Morning Line: on YOUR side!
God’s love and grace are with you trust He is able and willing to lift you.
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, The Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall, but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:28-31
Going through a hard time, read this account of Paul’s journey:
“….they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead. However, when the disciples gathered around him, he rose up and went into the city” (Acts14: 19-20 NKJV).
Notice two phrases: “supposing him to be dead” and “he rose up.”
Stoned but not silenced; beaten but not defeated!
Imagine Satan standing over Paul like a referee standing over a fighter who’s on the mat. On the count of nine Paul gets up and says, “I may be down, but I’m not out!” Paul was a defiant optimist, a self-encourager who knew how to lift himself and those around him
“But we have this treasure in clay jars,
so that it may be made clear that this extraordinary power belongs to God and does not come from us. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be made visible in our bodies. For while we live, we are always being given up to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus may be made visible in our mortal flesh…” 2 Corinthians 4:7-11 (NRSVCE)
The word for you today is—get back up, get back in the fight!
God’s steadfast love and grace are with you trust Him. He is able and willing to lift you filling full of His spirit guiding you!
There is no more time for lukewarm faith, get hot, dive in 100% don’t be left behind Christ Jesus is coming soon!
Jesus Christ is your Bread and Breath of Life, take time for a daily full meal of God’s Word.
