Morning Line: Word’s Worth

How would people rate your word, do you do what you say you will!

“If a man takes a vow to God…he shall not desecrate his word; according to whatever comes out of his mouth he shall do” Numbers 30:3

Our words are just like checks are yours cash-able?

You can say whatever you like, you can verbally commit yourself to anything but unless you follow through on your words, they are like a check that is written but with no money in the bank to back it up.

In the first chapter of Genesis is says “God said…” nine times. God created the world by speaking it into existence. He spoke and there was a world. The entire world comes from words!

We use words to create as well.

Through our words we create ourselves. When we say that we will be somewhere at 9:00 and we show up at 9:15 or when we say that we will get the job done and we don’t, or we make promises that we don’t keep–the result is that we have created an image and identity for ourselves of untrustworthy. When there is a gap between what we say and what we do, we will not be taken seriously by others, and they will see us as unreliable and even dishonest if it happens often enough.

When our words become profaned, how is it possible to pray to God? Can God take us seriously when our words are like checks without any money in the bank?

Conversely, when we consistently follow through on what we say and we demonstrate that our word is our bond, we create a person who is trustworthy, honest, and reliable.

When we speak about values to our children and the importance of having a relationship with God and our children see us doing just that, then our words will resonate with them. Our words will have integrity. Do as I say because I also do as I say!

Only “One”

Morning Line: Less of Life’s Band-Aides

“For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope” Romans 15:4:”

We don’t have to learn things the hard way all the time. There are countless examples in God’s Word tried and proven Benefits from Biblical lessons for every answer you need. Benefits and instructions to guide and protect you and your family, Spiritually, Physically, and Financially and so much more.

” Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” Romans 15:13

Know God is a God of hope nothing being impossible, as you Trust Him Trusting His “Word” in faith believing He will not fail you.

 God’s promise to you is, “…so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and succeed in the thing for which I sent it…”             Isaiah 55:11

As we re-new you mind daily in God’s Word praying Holy Spirit guides and teaches us. The benefits, promises, and precepts of the Father, Son, and Spirit illuminating and activating them in our life. As we follow them needing less Life Band-Aides”.

MORNING LINE: He’s Calling and Listening

 Father God through Christ Jesus and His spirit has called you and is listening to your prayers!

We live in a noisy world.  We are surrounded with noise.  But God listens.  He not only speaks to us, He listens to us.  It is rare to find anyone who listens carefully and thoroughly.  Go ahead talk with God, He’s listening! Morning Line: Overcoming Temptation

There is always a way out!

It may surprise You that NOWHERE in the Bible are we told to “resist temptation.”
We are told to “resist the devil,” that is very different. Instead, we are advised to refocus our attention because resisting a thought doesn’t work. It only intensifies our focus on the wrong thing and strengthens its allure.
Every time you TRY to block a Thought out of Your Mind, You drive it deeper and brighter into your conscious, sub-conscious and  memory. By resisting it, You actually reinforce it. This especially True with Temptation. You don’t DEFEAT Temptation by fighting the feeling of it.
Since Temptation ALWAYS begins with a THOUGHT, the quickest way to neutralize its allure is to turn your ATTENTION to something else.

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. “Philippians 4:8  (NKJV)

Know this whatever gets your ATTENTION and you dwell on you move toward good or bad.

Don’t fight the THOUGHT, just CHANGE the Channel of Your MIND and get interested in another idea. This is the first step in DEFEATING TEMPTATION.

^“But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble, therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you draw near to God and He will draw near to you…” James 4:6-8 (NKJV)

Suit Up

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;  praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints…” Ephesians 6:10-18

Pray that utterance be given to you to open your mouth and heart boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which you are an ambassador to proclaim the Good News of Salvation and healing through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
