Who or What are you Trusting?

 “… blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NIV)

Cast all your care in assurance: Christ Jesus is always with you Rain, Shine, or in Between.

 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life? And why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like one of these. Love God, Love One Another

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

Knowing God Through Love

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Seeing God Through Love

No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God and God in him.

The Consummation of Love

 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.

Obedience by Faith

If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. 1 John 4 (NKJ)

Morning Line: Stand Your Ground!

 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (NIV) “ For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

Our Father God likes it when we boldly stand up and take the Spiritual Authority given to us by Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Standing and saying” I have had enough; God’s Word says I am more than a Conqueror.” Our scripture today is about battle and overcoming the lies our enemy, the devil, has come against us with to take us down.

The Apostle Paul says” take those thoughts captive and believe and declare the power of the Word of God in you”In Him, In You, you have the power to Win your battles with confidence or restoration and well-being in your life and those you care for.

“Be strong and bold; have no fear or dread of them, because it is the Lord your God who goes with you; he will not fail you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 (NRSVCE)

^“ For those whom He foreknew [and loved and chose beforehand], He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son [and ultimately share in His complete sanctification], so that He would be the firstborn [the most beloved and honored] among many believers. And those whom He predestined, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified [declared free of the guilt of sin]; and those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity].

What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us?

He who did not spare [even] His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?  Who will bring any charge against God’s elect (His chosen ones)? It is God who justifies us [declaring us blameless and putting us in a right relationship with Himself]. Romans 8:29-33 (AMP)

Morning Line: Feeling Lean? Sow Seed!

If you are feeling lean, ask God to show you when, where, and how to plant abundant producing seed in your life and the lives of others. Ask how to watch over, care for, and water the seed.

Remember, what you choose to do today not only sets the day but also creates a ripple effect in the many tomorrows ahead of you. Ask God today who you can help plant their seed. Whatever you help others achieve, in time, comes full circle. God is always on time and has a good plan for you as you allow His Spirit to connect with your spirit, heart, and mind to guide you.

Morning Line:  Power of Thought and Word

“in the beginning was the “Word,” and the “Word was with God.” John 1:1

Think of it this way. In the beginning, the thought was with God, and the thought was God. God and His expressions are infinite. With every thought, there is continual beginning. We are thoughts we habitually have and are having. Therefore, if we choose to think God’s thoughts “positive, constructive, creative thoughts” we will express health, harmony, peace, and much more in our life as we stand on the promises of God’s “Word”.

Jesus fully understood the power of the “Word”; He spoke, and people were immediately healed.

“So shall my ‘Word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing where I sent it” Isaiah 55:11

You also have, through Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit, the “Power to Claim and see the Power of God’s Word complete what you send it to do in the authority given you in Jesus name. Get into God’s Word, your Bible, today and dig out the promise and precept for what you need, and, firm in faith, confess, believe, and release it in your life and others’ lives.

 Your Assignment

But as for you, teach the things which are in agreement with sound doctrine [which produces men and women of good character whose lifestyle identifies them as true Christians]. Older men are to be temperate, dignified, sensible, sound in faith, in love, in steadfastness [Christlike in character].

 Older women similarly are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor addicted to much wine, teaching what is right and good, so that they may encourage the young women to tenderly love their husbands and their children, to be sensible, pure, makers of a home [where God is honored], good-natured, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.

In a similar way urge the young men to be sensible and self-controlled and to behave wisely [taking life seriously]. And in all things show yourself to be an example of good works, with purity in doctrine [having the strictest regard for integrity and truth], dignified, sound and beyond reproach in instruction, so that the opponent [of the faith] will be shamed, having nothing bad to say about us.

Urge bond-servants to be subject to their own masters in everything, to be pleasing and not talk back, not stealing [things, regardless of value], but proving themselves trustworthy, so that in every respect they will adorn and do credit to the teaching of God our Savior.

For the [remarkable, undeserved] grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to reject ungodliness and worldly (immoral) desires, and to live sensible, upright, and godly lives [lives with a purpose that reflect spiritual maturity] in this present age, awaiting and confidently expecting the [fulfillment of our] blessed hope and the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, who [willingly] gave Himself [to be crucified] on our behalf to redeem us and purchase our freedom from all wickedness, and to purify for Himself a chosen and very special people to be His own possession, who are enthusiastic for doing what is good.

Tell them these things. Encourage and rebuke with full authority. Let no one disregard or despise you [conduct yourself and your teaching so as to command respect].
