Morning Line: Heart Seeds

Are the seeds you are planting in your heart full of life or weeds? The ground of your heart doesn’t know the difference. God created you with great potential and, through Jesus Christ, the ability to reach it. By reading and studying God’s Word, you are planting seeds in your life that can produce more than you could ever imagine.

According to Mark 4, your seed can produce 30 to 100-fold and more.

What are you pondering today? Proverbs 23:7 says we move toward what we are thinking over and over in our spirit.

If you don’t like what you see growing up, focus on God’s Word and promises, seeking the Holy Spirit’s guidance, placing a picture of new hope, desire, and a blueprint in you to move toward and work for.

Soon will see a new crop producing good fruit.

This is the miracle of faith and trust in God’s Word not returning void; His joy is to get it to you to use for Him and give it back to you to use again. With plenty for you, meeting your supply and much more to supply others.

Morning Line:  You’re Covered!

Going through a hard time? Read these words and be like Paul: “… having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead. However, when the disciples gathered around him, he rose up and went into the city” (Acts 14:19-20 NKJV).

Notice two phrases: “supposing him to be dead” and “he rose up.”  Stoned but not silenced; beaten but not defeated.

Think on this: “We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed” (2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NKJV)

Imagine Satan standing over Paul like a referee standing over a fighter who’s on the mat. On the count of nine, Paul gets up and says, “I may be down, but I’m not out!”

Our LORD does not grow tired or weary, giving strength to the weary and increasing the power of the weak… renewing their strength…to run and not grow weary, to walk and not be faint.  (Isaiah 40:28-31)

Our LORD is the everlasting God, The Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom. As our scripture says, He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Whatever your race is today, Father God will give you the energy and strength to run it. Hold fast to your course.

 Trust in the Lord forever, for in the Lord God you have an everlasting rock. Isaiah 26:4 (NRSVCE)

 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear… Psalm 46:1-2 (NRSVCE)

Do Not Grieve the Spirit

^“Therefore, putting away lying, ‘Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another.  “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath,  nor give place to the devil. Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. Morning Line:  Quality not Quantity

“But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen [do]…” Matthew 6:7

Some of the most effective prayers are the shortest prayers. Jesus said, “Peace, be still,” and the wind and the waves ceased (Mark 4:39). He said, “Lazarus, come forth,” and Lazarus came back from the dead (John 11:43-44).

Jesus never advocated long prayers, and there are only a few instances where Jesus prayed long prayers. This is not to say that communion with God is not important. It certainly is, but formal prayer is only one part of our communion with Father God, Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

Psalm 5:1-2  uses the words “prayer” and “meditation” interchangeably. Therefore, communing with God through keeping your mind stayed on the things of the Lord is also prayer.

There are also times in prayer when we need to be still and know that God is God (Psalm 46:10).
Many times we ask the Lord to speak to us, but He can’t get a word in “edge-wise.” We’re doing all the talking.

Morning Line: Wounded Recovered

Don’t Allow an Old Wound to Cancel what God has for your Future!

^“Brothers and sisters, forget what lies behind and reach forward to what lies ahead. I press on toward the goal to win the [heavenly] prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. In your life, becoming mature [pursuing spiritual perfection] with an expectant attitude, and the Holy Spirit will make clear to you the way you are to go. Stay true to what we have already attained, striving for perfection on the road ahead…” Philippians 3:13-16(AMP) paraphrased

Always remember:
“He (Christ Jesus) has borne our griefs, And He has carried our sorrows and pains; Yet we [ignorantly] assumed that He was stricken, Struck down by God and degraded and humiliated [by Him].
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed. Isaiah 53: 4-5 (AMP)

Morning Line: Stay in Your Lane

Everyone has their own lane; maintain yours- there’s less traffic and no speed limit.

It’s important to stay focused on your own journey instead of comparing yourself to others.

Your lane represents your goals, values, timing, and direction. When we constantly watch what others are doing, we can become distracted by their success, pace, or opinions. Staying in our own lane allows us to put that energy into becoming better than we were yesterday.

The “less traffic” reminds us that comparison creates unnecessary congestion—competition, pressure, doubt, and distraction. The “no speed limit” suggests that once we stop allowing other people to determine our pace, there is no artificial limit on how far we can grow.

You don’t have to outrun anyone else. Just keep moving with purpose in the direction that belongs to you.

Morning Line: Walking by Faith!

“We walk by faith, not by sight.” 2Corinthians 5:7 NKJV

Your eyes can deceive you! Sometimes there’s a difference between facts and truth. The facts may confirm that the natural things are a mess, but the truth is,

“God shall supply all your needs according to his riches” Philippians 4:19 (NKJ)

Ask God to open your eyes, as Elisha said to his servant, “‘Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.

Elisha prayed…Lord…open his eyes that he may see.’ Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha”  2Kings 6:16-17 (NKJ)

God wants you to look to Him and know that in your darkest moment you don’t have to be afraid. What you have going for you is so much greater than anything that comes against you. So rise up in faith and say with the Psalmist, “My help comes from the Lord” Psalm 121:2, NKJ).

Then act like you believe it!

 ^“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus… Keep on doing the things that you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you. Wisdom from Above
