He‘s For You

For this reason [grasping the greatness of this plan by which Jews and Gentiles are joined together in Christ] I bow my knees [in reverence] before the Father [of our Lord Jesus Christ],  from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name [God—the first and ultimate Father].

May He grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inner self, [indwelling your innermost being and personality], so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. It’s Your Head!

Stand Firm

I’ve been meditating on the old expression, “NEW LEVELS, NEW DEVILS “. It’s easy to think we can grow to the point we won’t have issues anymore. What a set up for disappointment! I find that the battle grows more complex as you progress in your spiritual life and the enemy plots to take you out or at least neutralize you. The fight doesn’t go away on this side. Take heart my friends…you are not alone in the battle.

Morning Line: Saving Grace

God’s grace gives you the power to be an over-comer! His grace will

empower you to renounce the lusts of life that separate you from Him.

He will never leave you nor forsake you. God cannot love you any more

than He does at this moment. He just loves you.

Grace gives you the power to have self-control; to walk uprightly with

Him and to live a Godly life, His Word in you will overcome the battle

in your mind, your will and your emotions. His Grace has given you the

power to live in the now and expect a great future. Grab hold of His

grace and the blessed hope of His appearing. He has redeemed you to

live a life of abundance and not defeat.

Lift up your heart and seize the victory. Christ Jesus gave Himself to redeem

His Own special people. By the grace of God you can be one of His own.

Simply invite Him in.

Morning Line: The Touch

Christ Jesus said, Who touched Me?”

Luke 8:45( NKJV)

One day a chronically ill woman who had hemorrhaged for 12 years pushed her way through the crowd and touched the hem of Jesus’ garment. And immediately she was healed. ‘…Jesus said, “Who touched Me?” When all denied it, Peter and those with him said, “Master, the multitudes throng and press You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’” But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.” Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all…how she was healed immediately. And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace”’ (vv. 45-48 NKJV).

Understand this: There is a difference between the indiscriminate touch of the crowd, and a touch of faith. Faith draws on God’s power and brings results! Notice, this woman touched the ‘hem’ of Jesus’ garment. The last thing a dressmaker does when she makes a garment is to sew up the hem. So the hem represents ‘the finished work’.

The same back that bore the cross which takes away your sins, also bore the stripes which take away your sickness. ‘…And by His stripes we are healed’ (Isaiah 53:5 NKJV).

What do you need today? Forgiveness of sins? Healing? Reach out in faith and touch Jesus, and you too will be made whole.

Marxism today

The old story goes … Socialism-You have two cows. The government takes one and gives it to your neighbor. Communism-You have 2 cows. The government takes both and gives you some milk. Capitalism-You have 2 cows. You sell one and buy a bull. Your herd multiplies, and the economy grows. You sell the animals and help others.

During my trip a few months ago to Europe, I thought of the following phrases, “Ideas have consequences, and bad ideas have victims” and “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” It was chilling to hear for ten days the chilling results of generations believing the lies of Anti-God Marxist Philosophy. Brilliant scientists, musicians and people didn’t just wake up one day and say, “Let’s build gas chambers!” Yet, millions of dead bodies were spewn all over Europe in the last century because of ghastly lies. Today many young people and university professors are once again buying into the promised utopian dreams of Marxism having forgotten the horrors of the 20th century.

John Stonestreet said, “The false promises of Marxism are compelling. Utopias always are. But, as Os Guinness said … there’s always a gap between the utopia that is promised and the reality that is achieved. Throughout history, that gap is filled by violence, as those in power seek to force the world they envision. Marxism, when applied, is state-sponsored oppression in the form of technocratic rule, which is why Marxism has been responsible for the worst crimes in human history, though all in the name of a good cause.

When Vladimir Lenin came to St. Petersburg in April 1917, he preached “Peace, Land, and Bread!” What the people actually got was war, tyranny, and famine. In his short time in power, millions starved, millions more were killed in the civil war, and the rest lost what little freedoms they had, all in the name of “the Revolution!”

Between taking control in the 1920s and his death in 1953, Joseph Stalin slaughtered an estimated 20 million people…

China under Mao Zedong recorded the most deaths. He killed somewhere between 45 and 65 million of his own people … His “Cultural Revolution” enshrined the worst kinds of intolerance, suppression, and torture imaginable.

Everywhere Marxism has been tried, the story is the same. Between 1975 and 1979, Pol Pot murdered as many as three million Cambodians, or 25% of their entire population. The Ethiopian famine of the early 80s was the result of flawed Marxist practices. From the thousands of students killed at Tiananmen in 1989 to the 2020 suppression of protests in the once free city of Hong Kong, China’s Marxism always returns to tyranny.”

My walk through Dachua Concentration Camp, Hitler’s Eagles Nest, the beaches of Normandy and Winston Churchill’s War Room shook me to the bones and reminded me, “Ideas have consequences, and bad ideas have victims” and “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

Morning Line: Be You!

Father God is saying to you trust me I will mentor you and place you with good mentors to become what I created you to be.

FAITH IN THE MIDDLE

Have you ever felt the challenge of having FAITH IN THE MIDDLE?

It’s often easy to have energy, enthusiasm, and faith at the beginning of an endeavor. Think about starting a new business, going on your honeymoon, or holding your firstborn child. Think about the day you say yes to a new ministry or launch a non-profit. The future seems bright, the path looks clear, and you just know God is in it.

It’s also easy to have faith at the end of an endeavor. You can see the victory with your own eyes. Others marvel at what has been accomplished. The dream is finally a reality, prayers have been answered, and faith feels natural.

But faith in the middle of an endeavor is a different story. It is much harder. The middle is where the scenery stops changing, the applause dies down, and the rubber meets the road.

In the middle, the bank account runs low and the original timeline looks far too optimistic. The people who promised to stand by you grow distant, and the crowd isn’t as excited about change as you thought they would be. The prayers haven’t been answered yet, the doubts creep in at night, and on some days, though you would never admit it out loud, you just want to quit.

The middle is ten years into a marriage when the romance stage has faded into the reality stage. It’s when that cute, cuddly toddler turns into a defying teenager, and you secretly wonder how time moved so fast and :

Isaiah 43:2 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.”

God never promised that the middle would be dry land, but He did promise that you wouldn’t drown. He is just as present in the messy center of your story as He was at the beautiful beginning.

Hold onto hope. Trust the process. Have faith. In Jesus Christ.

Are You Ready

If you are taking you last breath are you ready?

And He will send His angels with a loud trumpet and they will gather together His elect (God’s chosen ones) from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

“Now hear this! He is near, right at the door. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, this generation [the people living when these signs and events begin] will not pass away until all these things take place. Heaven and earth [as now known] will pass away, but My words will not pass away.

 “But of that [exact] day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son [in His humanity], but the Father alone. For the coming of the Son of Man (the Messiah) will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the [very] day when Noah entered the ark, and they did not know or understand until the flood came and swept them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be [unexpected judgment].  At that time two men will be in the field; one will be taken [for judgment] and one will be left. Morning Line: Fear Not!

Put the twins Worry and Fear to bed, Worry and Fear. Most of what we worry about doesn’t happen and what dose we couldn’t change. However as we become better at accepting the things we cannot and with God’s help changing the things we can. We worry less about tomorrow at peace trusting in the Lord for our answers.

God grant me the serenity;
