Trusting God Completely

“Pseudo-faith always arranges a way out to serve in case God fails.”

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”Proverbs 3:5

True faith requires total trust in God without a backup plan.

Tozer challenges us to abandon “pseudo-faith” and fully rely

on God’s promises. Proverbs 3:5 reminds us to trust Him

wholeheartedly and reject self-reliance. Reflect on Abraham’s

faith in Genesis 22:8, as he trusted God to provide a lamb for

the sacrifice. Abraham’s unwavering trust illustrates the depth

of faith God calls us to emulate. Today, consider areas where

you need to surrender control and trust God completely.

Lord, help me to trust You without reservation. Strengthen my

faith and teach me to rely fully on Your wisdom. Amen.
