Day 18 of 52 “The Joy of Obedience”
“To escape the error of salvation by works, we have fallen into
the opposite error of salvation without obedience.”
“If you love me, keep my commands” John 14:15
Obedience is not a burden but a joyful response to God’s love.
Tozer warns against the danger of neglecting obedience in
our walk with God. Jesus’ words in John 14:15 reveal that
Obedience flows naturally from love for Him. When we follow
His commands, we align ourselves with His will and experience
the blessings of a life lived for His glory. Today, reflect on areas
where you can grow in obedience.
Lord, help me to obey Your commands out of love and gratitude
for all You have done. Let my life reflect my devotion to You. Amen.
