Morning Line: Just Passing Through
”…but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the message of the gospel, even so we speak, not to please mortals, but to please God who tests our hearts…” 1 Thessalonians 2:4 (NRSVCE)
Our purpose is to please God, not people. This world is not our home we are passing through. And because of that, we should always be a bit disconnected from it, not quite in sync with everything this culture celebrates, because our citizenship is in heaven.
When you accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior you were given a great future home for eternity with your Father God and your Heavenly family. “
Father, Son, and Spirit invite us in Isaiah 1:18 to “Come here, sit down, let’s talk this over…let’s reason this out.”
If you are not talking to the Lord like you would talk to a friend you are missing out on an incredible aspect of who He is. He LOVES you and desires to be a part of all of your life.
Don’t miss out there is no better place than at His table and in His presence!
Take time to pull up a, chair open His word (your Bible) relax, talk and quietly listen, let God’s Spirit fill your spirit with His presence in you.
His peace, grace and provision will overtake you guiding you through the twists and turns of the day and life. Overcoming having victory here as you are passing through to a much better place.
Have faith in God with peace and expectation striving to mirror God’s Word and it will become alive in you.
You are chosen for this space and time in God’s time line, to make a difference prepare your heart, mind, and spirit. Take the Armor of God..
Jehovah God, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit are your assurance your sure unshakable foundation.
