Morning Line: Get up You’re Covered!
Going through a hard time, read these words and be like Paul: “… having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead. However, when the disciples gathered around him, he rose up and went into the city.” Acts 14:19-20
Notice two phrases: “supposing him to be dead” and “he rose up.” Stoned but not silenced; beaten but not defeated.
Think on this, “We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed” 2 Corinthians 4:8-9
Imagine Satan standing over Paul like a referee standing over a fighter who’s on the mat. On the count of nine, Paul gets up and says, “I may be down, but I’m not out!”
Our LORD does not grow tired or weary, giving strength to the weary and increasing the power of the weak….renewing their strength…to run and not grow weary, to walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:28-31
Our LORD is the everlasting God, The Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. As our scripture says, He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Whatever your race is today, Father God will provide the energy and strength to run it. Hold fast to your course.
Trust in the Lord forever, for in the Lord God you have an everlasting rock. Isaiah 26:4
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear… Psalm 46:1-2
Jehovah God, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit, is your assurance, your sure unshakable foundation.
You are chosen for this space and time in God’s timeline, to make a difference. Prepare your heart, mind, and spirit. Take on your Armor of God and be ready.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart… In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
