Morning Line: By Grace

“Grace be unto you, and peace, from God…”

1 Corinthians 1:3

One cannot experience God’s peace unless first knowing how to receive His grace and walk in it. There are three things about grace to understand:

(1) It cannot be earned

(2) It’s God doing for you what you can’t do for yourself

(3) It doesn’t kick in until you stop struggling, trying in your own strength.

James 4:6 . The ‘humble’ are those who admit their total inability to succeed without God’s help. Peter writes: one grows in grace by trusting God by taking God at His Word, counting on His gracious provision and intervention in situations difficult or impossible. There will never be a day when we don’t need God’s grace, and if we are willing to acknowledge we need it, we receive it.

‘For out of His fullness we have all received… grace… spiritual blessing…and favor …’ John 1:16.

Daily pour God’s Word into your heart to overflowing; when you need its power, it will pour back out of you in power and might to take care of the day before you.

Trust God, Trust His Love, Trust His “Word”, Trust the Process!
