Leadership

Leadership is about service.
by Brian Post
One of the disciplines that has shaped my leadership the most is memorizing Scripture. It keeps me grounded, sharp, and focused when the world feels chaotic. Verses like “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9) remind me daily that courage is not the absence of fear—it’s faith in action. It’s also Biblical (Jesus quoted scripture many times: Psalms 22, Deut. 6:13 and 6:16 and 8:3, Psalm 118:22-23, etc.).
Today and every day, I’m especially thankful for the men and women who live this truth out every day:
🇺🇸 Our military who protect our freedom
👮‍♂️ Law enforcement officers who keep our communities safe
🏥 Frontline medical care workers who run toward crisis, not away
🚒 First responders who put others first without hesitation
✝️ Volunteers and opportunities to serve in the Filling The Void ministry and other ministries in our local communities
Your sacrifice and resilience inspire me—and countless others—to lead with courage, compassion, and conviction.
➡️ If you’re building your leadership journey, I encourage you:
• Anchor your mind in truth by memorizing Scripture.
• Lead with gratitude, not ego.
• Look to those who serve as living examples of strength and perseverance.
Because leadership isn’t about titles—it’s about courage, service, and faith in action.
You matter. Your story matters. Live expectantly!
Trust God, Trust His Love, Trust His “Word”, Trust the Process!
