Most of us have seen pictures of George Washington kneeling in prayer. I was at the Washington Hilton and heard President Ronald Reagan say, “The First Amendment was not written to protect the people from religious values; it was written to protect those values from government tyranny.” As you read these verses, may you draw near to God, knowing He draws near to you.
Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the ends of the earth I will cry to you when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Psalm 61:1-2
The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14
I lift my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2
With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26
Take time today for America and a return to Her values that make Her Strong.
