Faith and Trust
Father God, “…For I trust [completely] in Your word [and its reliability]…” Psalm 42: 42 (AMP)
The strength of our faith is in direct proportion to our level of belief that God will do exactly what He has promised. Faith has nothing to do with feelings, impressions, outward appearances, nor the probability or improbability of an event. If we try to couple these things with faith, we are no longer resting on the “Word of God” alone. When we take Him completely at His “Word” we find peace and assurance. (Streams in the Desert)
Isaiah 55:11 (NRSVCE) “so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and succeed in the thing for which I sent it”
Psalm 103:2-4 (NRSVCE) “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget all his benefits— who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the Pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy…”
Hebrews 6:18-20 (NRSVCE) “ so that through two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible that God would prove false, we who have taken refuge might be strongly encouraged to seize the hope set before us. We have this hope, a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters the inner shrine behind the curtain, where Jesus, a forerunner on our behalf, has entered, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek”
Whatever the need is, today it is covered in God’s unchangeable “Word”. Search the Word, ask the Holy Spirit to lead you to the promise or promises you need. Then Own them in your Heart, mind and spirit, don’t look at the storm, stand unwavering
Meditate: On the promise and it will be “Fulfilled”
Let the Holy Spirit give your spirit boost you and give you a leg up, to run your race with confidence as Jesus Christ unfolds his great plan for you.
You are chosen for this space and time in God’s time line, to make a difference prepare your heart, mind, and spirit.
Jehovah God, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit are your assurance your sure unshakable foundation.
You matter your Story matters live expectantly!
