Morning Line: Be Teachable!

“for wherever you go I will go” Ruth 1:16

Be teachable. God constantly is rising up people to challenge us, sometimes unlikely ones that rub us backward, but it is part of the process. If you hope to be used, recognize the ones sent to you to prepare you. Whether to comfort, counsel, correct or challenge, they are your tutors. They are sent to you by your Heavenly Father to prepare you for a full life.

“He that receives whomsoever I send receives me; and he that receives me receives him that sent me” John 13:20

Friend  I pray you have eyes to see , ears to hear, a mind heart and spirit to receive.

”For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth takes its name. I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love.

I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21(NRSVCE)

Instruction

I beseech you, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

 I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching;  he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;  not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;  rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.

 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.

 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.

 Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink;
For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”

 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Morning Line: Your Best is Coming

It’s over Till it’s Over, you have  the power to overcome in you to release it powered by the Holy Spirit. Consider Caleb’s confession.

“And now, as you see, the Lord has kept me alive, as he said, these forty-five years since the time that the Lord spoke this word to Moses, while Israel was journeying through the wilderness; and here I am today, eighty-five years old. I am still as strong today as I was on the day that Moses sent me; my strength now is as my strength was then, for war, and for going and coming. So now give me this hill country of which the Lord spoke on that day; for you heard on that day how the Anakim were there, with great fortified cities; it may be that the Lord will be with me, and I shall drive them out, as the Lord said.” Joshua 14:10-12

Remember God doesn’t look at your past He looks at your future. It’s not over till it’s over. The Father, Son, Spirit as you trust and lean on them are ready to strengthen you and help conquer your Anakim and mountain. Your Father God is a God of healing and restoration.

God is saying to you, “I shall restore to you the years that the locust, the swarming locust, the canker-worm and the caterpillar have eaten—My great army that I sent among you.”
 “You will surely eat and be satisfied, and praise the Name of Adonai your God, who has dealt wondrously with you…  Yes, I am Adonai your God—there is no other— ….“Joel 2:25-27

ADONAI is your Salvation, Strength and Supply to give you a leg up.

“Even youths will faint and be weary, and the young will fall exhausted; but those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint” Isaiah 40:30-31

Morning Line: Wait Patiently-Speak Carefully!

Remember you only have one mouth use it wisely, sometimes it serves best shut.

Sometimes it’s best not to talk.

Ask for Jesus Christ to help you bring life, light and His grace into all situations. God is still on the throne and a few of His divinely inspired words can turn things and people around to restore peace and communication.

” go, and I will…teach you what you’re to say” Exodus 4:12

When God sends you He equips you, but not always in advance, sometimes it’s during the process. Don’t be fearful, trust in God’s promise to fulfill what He placed in you to do and the resource to do it for your success and His Glory. God ideas are greater than you can imagine. Enjoy the ride knowing He’s guiding and equipping you.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” Jeremiah 29:11

Morning Line: Step up Don’t Hide!

” cling to your life, you will lose it… let your life go, you will save it” Matthew 17:33

Years wrinkle the skin, giving up wrinkles the soul”

You can approach life by protecting it or pursue it; live safe or build fire of passion in your soul.

God never wastes a hurt; your greatest blessing will be helping someone walk out the path you have already walked by sharing with them; always encouraging them to walk it out, trusting Jesus.

Not hiding your past experience will help someone back into the race.

Christ Jesus promise; John 10:9-10 “I am the door; if any one enters by me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. “

Jesus Christ was and is filled with passion and is ready to fill your life full of His love, grace and passion to fill your life with more than you can imagine blessed to be a blessing ready and able to give many a leg-up. Just ask and be open to his guidance be ready for an amazing trip.

I pray your eyes, ears, mind, heart and spirit open and you have 20/20 vision and perfect pitch hearing that you clearly see the lamp at your feet leading and hear the Holy Spirit directing you.

My Rock, Salvation, and Defense

Morning Line: Dare to Care

  “What is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I compare it?  It is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took and sowed in his garden; and it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air made nests in its branches.” Luke 13:18-19

No seed is too small passed on in the love of Jesus Christ. Your act of caring will cause a ripple effect as it provides what’s needed to encourage and give a leg up. Your living God and creator is the great multiplier of your seeds.

“Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven; give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap; for the measure you give will be the measure you get back.” Luke 6:37-38  

As you show yourself trustworthy and a good steward in sharing what you have your Father God will open opportunity and trust you with more and more. Morning Line: Fear Not!

Everywhere you look today someone is fearful or selling fear.

“for God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline…” 2 Timothy 1:7

God tells us to fear not as we follow His instruction. He protects:

” You’ll stand untouched” Psalm 91:5-7
“he’ll keep you safe” Proverbs 3: 25-26
“I am with you…I will uphold you” Isaiah 41:10

Fear not as you seek Him and trust in His promises it releases His Spirit into your Spirit, and covers  you

“ God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change, though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea….The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah Psalm 46:1, 2,11
