Pursuing God Day 4 “True Satisfaction”

Pursuing God Devotional Day 4 of 52

True Satisfaction

“God is so vastly wonderful, so utterly and completely delightful that

He can, without anything other than Himself,

meet and overflow the deepest demands of our total nature.”

Taste and see that the Lord is good;

blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

P SA L M 3 4 : 8

The human heart craves fulfillment, often seeking satisfaction

in temporary things. Tozer reminds us that only God can truly

satisfy the deepest needs of our souls. Psalm 34 invites us to

experience God’s goodness personally. His presence is not just

enough—it overflows. When we take refuge in Him, we find

joy and contentment beyond what the world can offer. Today,

surrender your longings to God and allow Him to fill you with

His perfect peace.

Lord, You are the only source of true satisfaction. Help me to

rest in You and trust in Your overflowing goodness. Amen.

Jehovah God sent Him

Jehovah God Sent Him

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.  God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him. The one who believes in Him is not condemned; but whoever does not believe has been condemned already, because he has not put his trust in the name of the one and only Ben-Elohim.

“Now this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world and men loved the darkness instead of the light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the light and does not come to the light, so that their deeds will not be exposed. But whoever practices the truth comes to the light, so that it may be made known that his deeds have been accomplished in God.”…

The One who comes from above is above all. The one who is from the earth is of the earth, and of the earth he speaks. The One who comes from heaven is above all. And what He has seen and heard, He testifies to that; yet no one receives His testimony.  Whoever receives His testimony has certified that God is true.

The One whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Ruach without limit. The Father loves the Son and has given everything into His hand. He who trusts in the Son has eternal life. He who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. John 3:16-21, 31-36 (TLV)

Morning Line: Hope Excites

Morning Line: Hope Excites!

Hope excites as you wait on God timing in Faith!

Psalm 146:5:”Happy is he…whose hope is in the LORD God”

Hope excites the heart with rejoicing. Think of a time of anticipation of good. There was joy and hope of things to come. It is impossible to have true hope without a degree of joy. If you lack joy work on your hope, rejoicing will follow. Getting into the Word of God’s promises renews Hope and brings JOY.

Ecclesiastes 3”To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose”

There’s a time for everything in life. If you’re a child of God, He dwells in you and through Christ Jesus knows the seasons in your life. By Yielding to the Holy Spirit training you are becoming a Winner preparing for the race of Life for Him for others.

Read Matthew 6, It discusses needs of when, where, how.

Seeking God’s Kingdom first, your timing constantly improves, getting you to more of God’s Winners Circle. Blessed to be a Blessing.

Living expectantly that the joy of the Lord is your strength and knowing He always has an up-grade for you as you cast your care and faith  on the promises.

Pursuing God Devotional Day 3 of 52 “Faith’s Gaze

Pursuing God Devotional Day 3 of 52 by A.W. Tozer

 Faith’s Gaze

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author

and perfecter of our faith.

H E B R E W S 1 2 : 2

“Faith is the gaze of a soul upon a saving God.”

Faith is not merely believing in God; it is fixing our spiritual

eyes on Him. Tozer explains that faith is an active gaze, one

that looks to Jesus as both Savior and sustainer. Hebrews

reminds us that Jesus is the source and completion of our faith.

This act of looking to Him involves trust, surrender, and an

acknowledgment of His sovereignty. Today, focus your heart’s

gaze on Jesus, letting Him guide your steps and strengthen your

faith.

Jesus, help me to fix my eyes on You and trust You with every

part of my life. Strengthen my faith as I walk with You. Amen.

Morning Line: “I will Trumps What If’s”

Morning Line:” I Will” trumps What if!

“ He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.

”Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed” Matthew 8:1-3(NKJV)

The leper said ,’ Lord, if you will,  you can make me clean.” The first thing Christ Jesus did was correct his thinking by saying “I Will” be clean. Christ’s “ I Will “canceled his “What if” This added to his faith that Christ Jesus could and would heal him.

The same is for you get the “what if “ out of the way and let the “I will in”

Whatever your need is today, Christ Jesus has already covered and paid for it, whatever spiritually, physically, finance, family, whatever A to Z, there is a promise for it.

Philippians 4:19-20 (NKJV)” my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.  Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.”

What if? God has a upgrade for today, Dare to believe it and Receive It!!!!

God gave you a dream & identity before birth and placed it in your spirit.

“God… know the thoughts that I think toward you,.. of peace & not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11

God is preparing you for opportunity in His perfect timing, be open and ready to receive it. I pray you have eyes to see, ears, and spirit to receive it when it comes.

Keep dreaming, it’s free and cost everything not too. Keep faith in the dream God has put in you.

Love is Sincere and Active

Love is Sincere and Active

Love is to be sincere and active [the real thing—without guile and hypocrisy]. Hate what is evil [detest all ungodliness, do not tolerate wickedness]; hold on tightly to what is good.

Be devoted to one another with [authentic] brotherly affection [as members of one family],

give preference to one another in honor; never lagging behind in diligence; aglow in the Spirit, enthusiastically serving the Lord; constantly rejoicing in hope [because of our confidence in Christ], steadfast and patient in distress, devoted to prayer [continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength], contributing to the needs of God’s people, pursuing [the practice of] hospitality.

Bless those who persecute you [who cause you harm or hardship]; bless and do not curse [them]. Rejoice with those who rejoice [sharing others’ joy], and weep with those who weep [sharing others’ grief]. Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty [conceited, self-important, exclusive], but associate with humble people [those with a realistic self-view]. Do not overestimate yourself. Never repay anyone evil for evil. Take thought for what is right and gracious and proper in the sight of everyone.

If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave the way open for God’s wrath [and His judicial righteousness]; for it is written [in Scripture], “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. But if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for by doing this you will heap burning coals on his head.”

Do not be overcome and conquered by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:9-21(AM)

Pursuing God Devotional Day 2 of 52 by A.W. Tozer

Day 2

God’s Nearness

“We need never shout across the spaces to an absent God. He is nearer than our own soul, closer than our most secret thoughts.”

The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.

In moments of doubt or silence, we might feel that God is far away.

Tozer reminds us that this is never the case. God’s

nearness is a constant truth, and His proximity surpasses our

deepest awareness.

Psalm 145  (read) affirms that God’s nearness

is experienced when we call on Him sincerely. We are never

alone in our trials or victories; He is closer than our very breath.

Today, reflect on God’s abiding presence and find comfort in

His unchanging closeness.

Lord, thank You for being nearer to me than I can comprehend.

Help me to trust in Your presence, even when I cannot feel it.

Amen.

Morning Line: Magnify the Lord

Morning Line: Magnify!

Magnify means make greater and more effect. God is who He is; only we make Him bigger or smaller in our life.

Luke 1:46 “… My soul doth magnify the Lord”

What size are Jehovah God (Creator of All), Christ Jesus Savior-Healer), Holy Spirit (Teacher-Guide) to you in your heart, spirit, soul, and body?

In the world the actual is limited. In” JESUS CHRIST” the possibilities are Infinite!!

What size are Jehovah God (Creator of All), Christ Jesus Savior-Healer), Holy Spirit (Teacher-Guide) to you in your heart, spirit, soul, and body?

Ephesians 3:20 “God who is able to do exceedingly above all that we ask”

Luke 1:37 “For with God nothing will be impossible”

Romans 8:31 “What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?”

Stand confident God is with you through thick and thin and will carry you to victory. He is your steadfast refuge and strength your ever present companion as you let His spirit guide.

Focus on God’s goodness and faithfulness, magnify Him, your faith gets stronger and your answers come sooner. Let the Holy Spirit of God fill you today and lift you to high ground

Psalm 69:30”….praise the name of God with a song….magnify him with thanksgiving”

As you meditate today may you feel touch from the Father-Son-Spirit’

Pursuing God Devotional Day 1of 52 by A.W. Tozer

Welcome to this 52-day devotional journey inspired by

A.W. Tozer’s timeless work, The Pursuit of God. This

devotional is designed to guide you into a deeper relationship

with God, fostering reflection, prayer, and spiritual growth

through the integration of scripture and Tozer’s thoughtprovoking

insights.

Tozer’s writings challenge us to cultivate an authentic

hunger for God, offering profound encouragement to pursue

Him with our whole hearts. Each day, you’ll encounter a quote

from The Pursuit of God, paired with relevant scripture and a

reflection to illuminate how God’s Word intersects with Tozer’s

wisdom. Through these daily readings, may you experience the

transformative power of God’s presence and develop a greater

awareness of His work in your life.

Day 1

The Soul’s Paradox of Love

“To have found God and still to pursue

Him is the soul’s paradox of love.

You will seek me and find me when

you seek me with all your heart.

J E R E M I A H 2 9 : 1 3

A.W. Tozer describes the unique tension in the Christian life:

the joy of finding God and the insatiable longing to know Him

more. This paradox is not a contradiction but a reflection

of love’s true nature. When we experience God’s presence, it

fuels our desire to draw closer. Jeremiah’s words assure us that

God is not distant but fully accessible to those who seek Him

wholeheartedly. Let this truth inspire you to pursue God daily,

knowing He reveals Himself to those who long for Him.

Lord, thank You for the joy of knowing You and the desire

to know You more. Draw me closer to Your heart each day.

Amen.

You are chosen for this space and time in God’s time line, to make a difference prepare your heart, mind, and spirit. Take on your Armor of God and be ready.
