Measuring Your Measure

“Stop judging, so that you may not be judged. For with the judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

 “Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the beam in your own eye?  Or how will you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ and look, the beam is in your own eye?  Hypocrite, first take the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

“Do not give what is holy to dogs or throw your pearls before pigs; otherwise they will trample them under their feet, then turn and rip you to shreds.

 “Ask, and it shall be given to you. Seek, and you shall find. Knock, and it shall be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it shall be opened.

 “For what man among you, when his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?  Or when he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!  So in all things, do to others what you would want them to do to you—for this is the Torah and the Prophets.

Morning Line: Breathe

For those who have a tendency to try to control everything (and in some cases everyone), “relax” and trust the process and the people around you. More importantly, reduces your stress level. Sometimes, you just need to let things go and allow it to happen all on its own. Yes chill, relax, and take several deep breaths and everything will come together as it should. The best part is, you can still smile and enjoy life if you choose to.! Cheers to embracing the concept of relax, be happy, let life and God happen 

Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show mercy to you. Bearing, Sowing, Reaping

Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks himself to be something,when he is nothing, he deceives himself. Morning Line: Submit to Conquer!

“Submit yourselves therefore to God…” James 4:7

Being alert empowers you to be proactive in your personal and spiritual life.

1 Peter 5:6-8  “ Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you in due time.  Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.  Discipline yourselves, keep alert. Like a roaring lion your adversary the devil prowls around, looking for someone to devour…”

This is crucial to setting the rules of engagement. If you’re losing more than winning, you may have omitted this vital rule: Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you…  Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts…, Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you...”James 4:7-10

Submitting to God and Salvation doesn’t enroll you in a club for the religious elite; it enlists you in the army of the Lord. And this war isn’t just about you.

It’s also about your King, His rulership and authority, and who acknowledges it. Kingdom power is only given by the King to His subjects. To win this battle you must recognize your King and submit to Him. The Roman centurion who met Christ understood this. ‘I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, “Go,” and he goes; and that one, “Come,”’ and he comes…’Luke 7:8

He recognized that he, like Jesus, got his power by submitting to authority. Submitting yourself to Jesus is what gives you the power to battle successfully. Knowing as you recognize Jesus Christ’s authority and submit to it, it’s the submitted life that overcomes. Seize this moment and surrender yourself to Jesus, the King of kings, who said, ‘…All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth’ Matthew 28:18

Under His authority, you have that victory ‘…Not by [human] might nor by [human] power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts’ Zechariah 4:6

Always stand firm in Him at work in You, you have “All” the power needed to overcome!

With Jesus Christ and His Spirit, you’re on the Winning Team for Eternity

Morning Line:  Come to ME

Peter walked on the water by faith in the Word “Come”  Matthew 14:29

That one word Jesus spoke had the power to allow Peter to walk on water. But Peter had to take the first step.

Friends, Do not judge things by human standards. Confront your fears. Know and Stand on God’s promises; they will become your stepping stones.

God and His Words do not change.

Matthew 24:35 “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my Words shall not pass away.”

Father God is saying, Step out come to me, Trust my Word acting in faith that my Word and promises will accomplish what they are sent to do.

Through Christ Jesus at work, you have the power of life in you and the back of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Father God is saying to you in 3 John 1:2 come to me “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.

Dwell on God’s Word daily and Confess the promises of God with your mouth they will plant in your spirit and you’ll soon be a water walker headed toward your best stride in God’s divine direction to your Winner’s Circle.

God says in Jeremiah 29:11-12 “For surely I know the plans I have for you… for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope. Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you.’

God’s word for you today: “Come To Me”

Ephesians 3:20-21(AMP) “ Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever.

Judging the Fruit

 “Watch out for false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.  You will recognize them by their fruit. Grapes aren’t gathered from thorn bushes or figs from thistles, are they?  Even so, every good tree produces good fruit, but the rotten tree produces bad fruit.  A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a rotten tree produce good fruit.  Every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire.  So then, you will recognize them by their fruit.

 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.  Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in Your name, drive out demons in Your name, and perform many miracles in Your name?’ Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you. Get away from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’”

Morning Line: Step In and Up

“Come near to God and he will come near to you…” James 4:8

Resisting the devil is imperative, but it is not the endgame. This is: “Come near to God and He will come near to you.”

Satan’s goal is to drive a wedge between you and God.  You keep him from doing it by closing the gap between you and God! By being aware of distancing from God is done unconsciously. You become preoccupied, self-centered, and over-committed, prayer is limited to grace over meals, Bible-reading to the few verses in the pastor’s sermon, and many more daily distractions.

God’s word says”…Pay more careful attention, therefore, to what [you] have heard, so that [you] do not drift away” Hebrews 2:1

Distancing is a subtle drift, Satan’s goal is to separate you from God and His blessing. Like a soldier who’s cut off, you become an easy target.

The Bible says, ‘If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble’ Ecclesiastes 4:10.  Distancing from God is a choice. But it’s your choice, never God’s! He says, ‘…I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee’ (Hebrews 13:5).

Whatever your circumstances, He remains faithful. ‘When you pass through the waters…the fire…I am with you…’ (Isaiah 43:2-5 NIV).

What is God’s part? ‘He will come near to you. Take one step in His direction and He will close the gap, embrace, secure, and enable you ‘…to stand up to everything the devil throws your way. Ephesians 6:11.Get your head and heart up let’s go win today’s fight! You!

MORNING LINE: Perspective!

Your problem can become a mountain or be reduced to an anthill.  It’s all a matter of perspective.  Don’t see things by human standards, confront your fears.  Know God’s promises and they will become your stepping stones.

Light and Salt

“ Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy,  fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.  Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.  Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.
