Word Worth?

One cold night, a billionaire met a poor old man on the street. He asked him, “Aren’t you cold? You’re not even wearing a coat! The old man replied, “I don’t have a coat but I’m used to it. The billionaire replied, “Wait for me. I’ll go home and get you a coat.”

The poor man was so happy and said he would wait for him. The billionaire arrived at his house, busied himself there and forgot about the poor man. The next morning he remembered the poor old man and went to look for him but found him dead from the cold.

The poor old man left a letter saying, “When I didn’t have warm clothes, I had the mental strength to fight the cold, but when you promised to help me, I clung to your promise and it killed my mental power.”

Don’t promise anything if you can’t keep your promise. It may not be necessary for you, but it may be everything for someone else. (copied)

Test the Spirit

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit [speaking through a self-proclaimed prophet]; instead test the spirits to see whether they are from God because many false prophets and teachers have gone out into the world.  By this you know and recognize the Spirit of God: every spirit that acknowledges and confesses [the fact] that Jesus Christ has [actually] come in the flesh [as a man] is from God [God is its source];  and every spirit that does not confess Jesus [acknowledging that He has come in the flesh, but would deny any of the Son’s true nature] is not of God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and is now already in the world. Grace is God’s blessing (& power) coming down to you.  You open the door to God as an act of faith, knowing with wavering Father-Son-Spirit are your refuge, strength, and guide, Never leaving or forsaking you.

 Prayer and God’s “Word” is your Key opening the window of faith leading down your path, peace, fulfillment, and victory.

In Prayer with belief put to action. 1^st request, 2^nd action 3^rd results, some come quickly some seem to take time. The second you asked the process began. Don’t derail your promise       Isaiah 40:31:” they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint…”

We need to understand grace and mercy are not earned, it’s what God is doing for us when we can’t, and it usually doesn’t kick in until we stop chasing our tail.
