Thought to Ponder: They are with us!
Hebrews 13:1-3 (NIV)-Keep on loving each other as brothers. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it. Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.
My Thoughts-Do you understand when the bible tells you, “Keep on loving each other as brothers”? You see we are all God’s people and are command to not judge or discriminate against!! We are to reach out to others as we would if it was our immediate family!! Jesus when He was on this earth gave us only two commands. To love the Lord our God and to love people as ourselves!! Most of us go around saying it is too hard to love some people, but God said all people! One day a while back I went to visit a friend in the hospital with a couple of other people. We went into the room and there was a nurse there and she was kneeling and praying for our friend. When the nurse left she told us everything was going to be fine. After we stayed for a while we left and as we got to the nurses station we asked to get the name of the nurse that was attending our friend. We were told that this man was the only nurse taking care of our friend and they were the only people up here taking care of patients. We left that night scratching our heads who was that person in that room. When one of us said do you think it was an angel?? I can tell you this that it is the only explanation for what happened that evening!!! By ron leffler
