Day 17of 52 “The Pursuit of Simplicity”

“The man who would truly know God must give time to Him.”

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,

and all these things will be given to you as well.

Matthew 6: 33

In our busy lives, it’s easy to let our relationship with God

take a backseat. Tozer reminds us that knowing God requires

time and focus. Matthew 6:33 directs us to prioritize God’s

kingdom and trust Him with our needs. Simplifying our lives

means removing distractions that compete for our attention

and dedicating ourselves to seeking Him first. Reflect today on

how you can create more space in your life for God.

Lord, teach me to seek You first and to simplify my life so that

I can spend more time with You. Amen.
