Morning Line: Joy

May You be Filled Full of Joy !

 ^“As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. I have said these things to you so that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete. “John 15:9-11 (NRSVCE)

Abiding fully in Christ Jesus leads to overflowing contentment and heart full of peace and joy no matter what state of mind you might be in. As Christ Jesus has complete possession of one’s mind, soul and spirit one enters fully into the “JOY of the LORD’ and a satisfied heart.

Nehemiah 8:10 (NRSVCE) “Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions of them to those for whom nothing is prepared, for this day is holy to our Lord; and do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

As a believer there is nothing more attractive or persuasive to another as Joy of a heart made glad. Knowing Christ Jesus is always there helping overcome the trials of life confident that the Joy of the Lord is one’s strength and song. Knowing you have full access to all the power of heaven, as Christ Jesus is abiding in and through you.
