Morning Line: Hydrated Spirit!

“ I do not want you to be unaware, brothers and sisters, that our ancestors were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea, and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, and all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ Jesus”. 1 Corinthians 10:1-4 (NRSVCE)
The water is the Word of God flowing in us and Christ Jesus is the rock we can stand on. We need to strive to be like the man in:
“But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Psalm 1:2-3 (KJV)
We are the tree and the Word brings forth fruit of the spirit, love, peace, joy, gentleness, self-control, meekness, and temperance in your life and prospers you. Let God’s Word hydrate and cleanse and fill you today, to walk in health and prosper you as it leads you to high places.
“ The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your needs in parched places, and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water,
whose waters never fail.” Isaiah 58:11 (NRSVCE)
