Morning Line: Good and Bad Days

Morning Line: Good and Bad Days

 “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV)

God loves and accepts you as much on your bad days as He does on your good ones. In a performance-based society, that’s easy to forget. But you mustn’t! God’s acceptance is based on your standing in Jesus Christ, not the state of your life at a given time. Think of the cross as a trading post. There God took on All the sins you’ve committed or will commit past, present and future laying them upon Christ Jesus. And the moment you place your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior asking Him into your heart and being, God took all of Jesus Christ’s righteousness and wraps you up in it. From that point on, He sees you only one way, In Jesus Christ. The Ultimate trade your redemption from eternity in Hell for eternity in Heaven! As you realize that your worth isn’t based on what you do but on who you are in relationship to Jesus Christ. God actually assigned value to you by sending Jesus Christ His only Son to die for you.  As your relationship grows with Him you will find your Good days farther apart from your Bad days.

 “Come now, let us argue it out,
    says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be like snow;
though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.
If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; Isaiah 1:18-19 (NRSVCE)

Good and bad days come and go, be at peace the Father, Son, and Spirit are always with you. As you cast your care to them they have a great plan and path for you.
