Morning Line: Established in Him

God himself will in Him, Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians 1:21 “ He who establish us in …Christ is God”

These words of Paul the apostle teach us a much needed and blessed truth—that just as our first being united with Christ was the work of divine omnipotence, so we may look to the Father, too, for being kept and being fixed in Him.

Psalm 138:8 (NRSVCE) “The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever”

This expression of confidence ever accompany our prayer, Lord “Forsake not the work of thine own hands. In all our longings and prayers to attain to a deeper and more abiding in Christ Jesus, we as believers most hold fast to this confidence:

Philippians 1:6 (NRSVCE) “ I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the day of Jesus Christ.”

Be rooted in grounded it this promise in faith: He which
established you ….in Christ Jesus is God”
