Morning Line: Consistency

How consistent in your time with the Father, Son, and Spirit.

It is what we do every single day in service of God. It is the uninterrupted consistency that is the bedrock of a faith-filled life with power in this world.

A true test of our relationship with God is how consistent are we.

Do you pray every day? Do you study every day? Are you kind every day? Do you give charity every day? Do you give grace and mercy every day?

Connecting with God is not a hobby; it is something that is to be a part of each and every moment of our lives.

The more consistent we are we become whole in and through the Holy Spirit at work in us, with hearing, seeing, and discerning what God is saying to us. The promised lamp at our feet becomes brighter and brighter.

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God what is good and acceptable and perfect. For by the grace given to me, I say to everyone among you not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned…” Romans 12:2-3 (NRSVCE)

“Put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our struggle is not against enemies of blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to withstand on that evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm…  Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.
