John 13:34-35

John 13: 34-35

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

When you surrender the struggle and let go of the ego-self, you reconnect with your heart and with the divine. In that place love comes alive. And for the first time you taste the freedom of being your true self. You are no longer a slave to the darkness within. Your soul is awakened and you recognize that love is who you are. You fall in love with yourself and with life, with your maker, and everything and everyone around you. Intimacy is no longer something to be guarded about but with a new honesty, openly embraced. Fear and guilt flee from you like the shadows of night. And as the light comes streaming in so does clarity. In that place you understand that your purpose for being is to selflessly give love and receive love. This is your highest calling. There is nothing more wondrous, more exciting and fulfilling than to allow love to flow in you and through you. ~ Daniel Nielsen
