In order to learn how to manage emotions well, it is important to start with the basics and work on the following:
- buying time- by counting to 10 to calm your nerves down 2. checking our own physical responses-by practicing breathing, consciously relaxing your muscles, making sure we don’t get defensive (matching body language with words we speak) 3. changing our perspective- by meditating, being objective, expressing feelings without dramatization If controlling your emotions is difficult for you, it is best to look into understanding your triggers.
After all, patience is the key that opens many doors. #LoveTheLifeYouAreLiving
