Worship That Transforms

“Worship is no longer worship when it reflects the

culture around us more than the Christ within us.”

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s

mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and

pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship”

Romans 12:1.

Tozer warns against letting worship become a reflection of

societal trends rather than an offering to God. Romans 12 calls

us to present our whole lives as acts of worship, focusing on

God’s holiness and mercy. Ask yourself: Is your worship rooted

in genuine love for God or influenced by external pressures?

Today, recommit to worship that is Christ-centered, whether

in song, prayer, or daily actions. Let your life reflect His glory.

Lord, help my worship to be pure and pleasing to You.

Transform my heart and let my life be a living sacrifice for Your

glory. Amen.

Morning Line: Inhale!

“ All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction , for instruction into righteousness.” 2 Timothy 3:16

The Bible is God’s breath. How long can you hold your breath without being in trouble?

In the natural we can only last a short time. A lot of us have and are living in a spiritual oxygen-depleted atmosphere, because we not a taking in a deep breath of God’s Word daily. Letting any bit of stress take our breath away.

The Greek root for inspiration is breath. So all scripture is the “Breath of God”, in Ezekiel God said let these dry bones have breath and return to life. And they came together and stood as a great army.

“ The hand of the Lord came upon me, and he brought me out by the spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me all around them; there were very many lying in the valley, and they were very dry.  He said to me, “Mortal, can these bones live?” I answered, “O Lord God, you know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them: O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.  Thus says the Lord God to these bones: I will cause breath  to enter you, and you shall live. Ezekiel 37:1-5

If God’s breath- His Word can do that in a valley of dry bones, think about the power it can release in your life.

Take an extra deep breath today and see what God does in and through you.

Let the breath of God energize you Today !

As you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, his Spirit is with you and will guide you. Have faith today your supply and needs are met.

Every Morning

But this I call to mind, Therefore I have hope.

It is because of the Lord’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed,
Because His [tender] compassion’s never fail.

They are new every morning;
Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness.

“The Lord is my portion and my inheritance,” says my soul;
“Therefore I have hope in Him and wait expectantly for Him.”

The Lord is good to those who wait [confidently] for Him,
To those who seek Him [on the authority of God’s word].

It is good that one waits quietly
For the salvation of the Lord. Lamentations 3:21-26 (AMP)

The Pursuit of Peace

“God’s peace is not the absence of fear

but the presence of Himself.”

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not

give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts

be troubled and do not be afraid” John 14:27

The world’s version of peace is fragile, but God’s peace is

unshakable. Tozer highlights that true peace comes from the

assurance of God’s presence, not from a lack of challenges. In

John 14, Jesus gifts us His peace, a divine calm that transcends

circumstances. Are you seeking worldly peace or resting in

God’s promises? Take time today to invite His peace into your

heart, especially in areas of fear or anxiety.

Jesus, thank You for the peace You give. Calm my fears and help me                                                            to rest in Your presence, knowing You are always with me, Amen.

Morning Line: Daily Bread

Psalm 68:19”Blessed be the Lord who daily loads us with His benefits, the God of our salvation!”

Don’t skip your daily meal of God’s Word and molding into your spirit by the Holy Spirit.   When you skip it you become weak, irritable, and tired you just don’t function right.

In the middle of the Lord’s Prayer Matthew 6:11 Jesus said “give this day our daily bread” not just physical but also spiritual. All throughout the Old and New Testament scriptures refer to God’s Word as bread, so pray daily for a Word from God, your daily bread of life to strengthen, nourish and guide you.

Pray: Thank you Lord for your bread of life that feeds and sustains me. Thank you for opening my spirit to hear a Word for today, to touch my life and the life of someone around me. You are my refuge, strength and guide. I honor and praise your Holy Name.

God’s Patience with Us

“God never hurries. There are no deadlines

against which He must work.”

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some

understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not

wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance”                                                                                                                                     2Peter 3:9

Isn’t it comforting to know that God’s timing is perfect? Tozer’s

reflection assures us that God is not bound by human schedules.

In 2 Peter, we see His patience on full display, driven by His

deep desire for all to experience His grace. What areas of your

life are you rushing? Maybe God is calling you to slow down

and trust His process. Today, take a deep breath and surrender

your timetable to the One who sees the bigger picture.

Lord, thank You for Your patience with me. Help me to trust in Your timing and align my life with Your eternal plan. Amen.

Morning Line: His Touch

Matthew 8:2-3”… a man with leprosy… knelt before him. “Lord,” the man said, “if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.”
Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared.

What’s your need today, one touch from Jesus can change your world. Ask believing he will. He Loves you and wants to heal, touch and restore you.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish….so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:8-11

Have assurance, Believe that God’s Word will accomplish and achieve the purpose for which it was/is sent to perform according to His will. Spend time pondering and meditating on the scriptures, it will increase faith, hope and trust in God’s Holy Words and promises.

Stand firm believing in the power of the Word seeking God daily, spending time in prayer and meditation listening for His special soft voice. You will connect spirit to spirit you will know the right path moving with confidence.

“…so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it…” Isaiah 55:8-11

His Faithfulness

Pursuing God Day 36 of 52 “Simplicity”

The Simplicity of God’s Will

“God is not hard to please, though He may be hard to satisfy.”

“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And

what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and

to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8

How often do we overly complicate what it means to follow

God? Tozer reminds us of the simplicity in living out God’s will.

Micah 6:8 offers a straightforward road map: justice, mercy,

and humility. It’s not about grand gestures but about daily

faithfulness. What small steps can you take today to walk more

humbly with God? Maybe it’s showing kindness to a stranger

or forgiving someone who wronged you. God delights in these

simple acts of obedience.

Lord, guide me in living simply and faithfully. Help me to act                                                                        justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You every day. Amen.

Morning Line: Look Around!

My prayer is that we all take the time to look around and acknowledge ALL of God’s creations.  From the beautiful sky to your crazy neighbor, all made by God!

Psalm104:24 “How varied are Your works, Lord!  In wisdom You have wrought them all; the earth is full of Your creatures.”

As your worship today thank God for all His love and majesty. Ask Him how you can display it better to others. Stop and smell God’s flowers resting in Him. He a has a Word for you today be still, spirit to spirit and it will be released in you.

Jesus Christ said ask, seek and knock. Seek Him with a right mind, heart and motive there’s an awesome path that will illuminate for you.
