 Strength in Surrender

“The reason why many are still troubled, still seeking,  still making little forward progress is because they haven’t yet come to the end of themselves.”

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you,

for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

2 Corinthians 12:9

Tozer’s insight points to the freedom that comes when we

surrender our striving and rely on God. 2 Corinthians 12:9

reminds us that God’s strength shines brightest in our

weaknesses. Are you holding on to self-sufficiency in areas

where God is calling you to trust Him? Today, take a step of

surrender and let His grace carry you.

Lord, I surrender my weaknesses to You. Fill me with Your

grace and help me to rely on Your strength instead of my own.

Amen.

Morning Line: Living for others!

“Do it all in the name of the Lord.”  Colossians  3:17

Living for others, Striving to be humble and trustworthy, asking each day what can I give.

As we are living in a time whose motto is “Look out for number one,

” we need to be reminded that “Christ did not strive to please himself” Romans15:3.

He didn’t live to enrich Himself, but to enrich others, with no selfishness in Him. Christ Jesus our Lord worthy to be called “Master,” because He first mastered Himself by denying Himself and living for others through Him at work in you,

You can do the same, you get almost anything done, as long as you don’t care who gets the credit.

“Whatever you do today, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Strive to be humble and trustworthy, You’ll discover you can have what God offers as you live and operate in “faith” and “obedience.”  Your Faith is like electricity; you don’t have to analyze it to enjoy its benefits. Just plug into it! Obey Him and His Word knowing God always has an upgrade for you blessing you to be a blessing!!!

Get up Get going, you have a great day overflowing with opportunity ahead of you to give someone a leg up..

Living with Eternal Perspective

Keep your feet on the ground, but let your heart soar as high as it will. Refuse to be average or to surrender to the chill of your spiritual environment

“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ,

set your hearts on things above, where Christ is,

seated at the right hand of God”

Colossians 3:1

Tozer calls us to reject mediocrity and live with eternity in view.

Colossians 3:1 encourages us to set our hearts on heavenly

things, allowing eternal priorities to shape our daily lives. What

earthly distractions are keeping you from fully pursuing God?

Take time today to refocus your heart on things that matter

forever.

Father, help me to live with an eternal perspective. Lift my eyes

from temporary concerns and direct my heart toward Your

kingdom. Amen.

Morning Line: Growing in Love!!

“Your love for one another is growing.”  2Thessalonians 1:3

When Apostle  Paul says, Your love for one another is growing,” it’s not the kind where life’s perfect and everybody accommodates you. Know this God’s intention is to “grow” you into the kind of love that’s not defined by your feelings, but by a sacrificial love that says,

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me” (Galatians 2:20)

It’s possible to be in love with the idea of a perfection without actually loving. We have a choice when it comes to loving a family member, friend, or one passing by to know it’s a growing process that puts your love and faith to the test.

Jesus said, “As I have loved you…you must love one another” (John 13:34), and He never asks us to do anything without giving us the ability to do it. So are you ready to do a little growing?

When we’re hurt it’s common to withdraw, that’ okay for the moment.

But strive not to withhold Jesus Christ’s love, grace, and mercy to a hurting heart  it grows when it’s nurtured with unconditional love. Grace, care, and empathy doesn’t depend on behavior, mood or circumstances. Being pleasing does not equate to being lovable. Imagine if Jesus loved us only when we behaved perfectly. We’d never experience His affection, and consequently we’d wither away.

“Christ Jesus is our example, we need to love others with a Christ like grace. He loves us according to His capacity, not according to the degree of our merit. We must love others…not by our standards but by His.

Ponder this lesson, pray Lord help me love and wrap my arms around the ones the test my ability to extend grace, mercy, and Christ like Love.

Power of Humility

“The meek man is not a human mouse afflicted with a sense

of his own inferiority. Rather, he may be in his moral life as

bold as a lion and as strong as Samson, but he has stopped

being fooled about himself.”

“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up”

James 4:10

True humility is not about thinking less of yourself but

recognizing your dependence on God. Tozer’s words challenge

us to stop being deceived by pride and embrace meekness as a

strength under control. James 4:10 reminds us that humility

positions us to be lifted by God’s grace. Reflect today on areas

where pride may be holding you back, and invite God to shape

your heart in humility.

Lord, teach me the beauty of humility. Help me to rely on Your

strength and to reflect Your character in my interactions with

others. Amen.

Morning Line: Speak Wisely

“The tongue of the wise promotes health.” Proverbs 12:18

Grace “the salt that seasons our words and keeps them from corrupting.” Salt has two primary purposes: preserves, and adding flavor. The Bible says your words should be “seasoned with salt”, to preserve and not corrupt to promote well-being.  You can’t draw fresh water from a salty spring” James 3:12

Friend you can’t fake what’s in your heart it will come out. It’s not just a saying the right things; it’s about having a right attitude, because what you say reflects “the things that are in [your] heart”

You have the ability to speak words of faith, which cause either benefit or destruction…‘

The tongue of the wise promotes health, It’s a choice. By faith line up your mouth and heart with God’s Words, releasing His promises and power in your life to be more than a conqueror, more than you ever dreamed.

 The Gift of Grace

“Grace is the good pleasure of God that inclines Him

to bestow benefits on the undeserving”

”But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my

power is made perfect in weakness.”

Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses,

 so that Christ’s power may rest on me.2 Corinthians 12:9

Grace is undeserved, unearned, and unlimited. Tozer captures

the beauty of God’s willingness to lavish us with His goodness

despite our flaws. 2 Corinthians 12:9 shows that God’s grace

is sufficient in every situation, especially in our weakness. Are

there areas in your life where you feel inadequate? Let God’s

grace fill those gaps and remind you that His power is made

perfect in you.

Lord, thank You for Your amazing grace that meets me where I

Morning Line: He did it for You!

Are you ready, you may not have another breath?

“…My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?” Matthew 27:46 NKJV

Imagine having to stand on a stage and watch every sin you’ve ever committed replayed for the entire world to see – secret addictions, selfish motives, angry outbursts, critical attitudes, and jealous heart.

How do you think you’d feel?

Well, Jesus experienced much worse. The Bible says: ‘He…bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness by whose stripes you were healed’ (1Peter 2:24 NKJV).

It’s bad enough to die for sins you didn’t commit, but imagine being forsaken by God! Does that mean the Psalmist was wrong when he wrote: ‘…I have never seen the righteous forsaken…’ (Psalms 37:25 NIV)?

No, because at that moment Jesus was anything but righteous. When you look at Him hanging there you will see the gossiper, the liar, the cheater, the alcoholic, the porn addict, the child abuser, the murderer. Does it bother you to see His name linked with theirs? Well, Jesus did even more. He put Himself in their place and yours. In a move that broke God’s heart and gave us the gift of eternal life, He poured out His righteous judgment on His only Son. So when Jesus cried from the cross, ‘My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?’ He said it so that you would never have to. What wondrous love.

Receive Him as Savior and take daily time to know the God the Father, Son the Redeemer, Holy Spirit your teacher/ guide,  you will be more than glad you did.

God has a Great Word for you!

As you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, his Spirit is with you and will guide you. Have faith today your supply and needs are met.
