God has called you to His family!

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.” Romans 5:8-9 (NKJV)

Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?” Romans 8:33-36 (NKJV)”

Morning Line: Overcoming Temptation

There is always a way out!

It may surprise You that NOWHERE in the Bible are we told to “resist temptation.”
We are told to “resist the devil,” that is very different. Instead, we are advised to refocus our attention because resisting a thought doesn’t work. It only intensifies our focus on the wrong thing and strengthens its allure.
Every time you TRY to block a Thought out of Your Mind, You drive it deeper and brighter into your conscious, sub-conscious and  memory. By resisting it, You actually reinforce it. This especially True with Temptation. You don’t DEFEAT Temptation by fighting the feeling of it.
Since Temptation ALWAYS begins with a THOUGHT, the quickest way to neutralize its allure is to turn your ATTENTION to something else.

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. “Philippians 4:8  (NKJV)

Know this whatever gets your ATTENTION and you dwell on you move toward good or bad.

Don’t fight the THOUGHT, just CHANGE the Channel of Your MIND and get interested in another idea. This is the first step in DEFEATING TEMPTATION.

^“But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble, therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you draw near to God and He will draw near to you…” James 4:6-8 (NKJV)

Suit Up

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;  praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints…” Ephesians 6:10-18

Pray that utterance be given to you to open your mouth and heart boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which you are an ambassador to proclaim the Good News of Salvation and healing through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Have Mind, Heart, and Spirit Changing Faith!

Faith is actively refusing the power of the devil/evil to take hold in your life.  It is not saying mere words.  You must have an activity of faith, refusing the conditions in the Name of  Christ Jesus.

We must have something more than words;

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you…” James 4:7” “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead…” James 2: 26

Take a few minutes to read James chapter 2, Trust God in prayer today letting His Spirit arise in you like a fresh breeze. To lift your faith to step out on the promise that He is with you to guide you to your needed victory giving Jesus Christ the praise for the victory. When Jesus Christ is riding with you, you have what it take to be more than a conqueror in all things.

Praying through something might be defined as follows: “Praying your way into Full Faith; coming to the point of assurance while still praying, that your prayer has been  accepted and heard; in advance of the event, with confident anticipation, actually becoming aware of having received what you  asked”

Let us remember that no earthly circumstances can hinder the “Fulfillment of God’s Word.”

We must look steadfastly at His immutable Word and not the uncertainty of this ever-changing world.

God desires for us to believe His Word without other evidence, and then

He is ready to do for us “according to [our] faith.”

The thing will come at last;

MORNING LINE: Contentment!

He makes me to lie down in green pastures.  He leads me beside the still waters

“He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” Psalm 23:2-3

God’s contentment comes with overflowing blessings and joy, enabling us to enjoy His fields and the clean air of His mountain tops where eagles fly; supplied, led and protected by our Great Sheppard Jesus Christ.

Colossians 2:7” Rooted and built up in Him, and established in the faith, being taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.”

Abound in faith through thanksgiving, the word abound means to be plentiful.  The word comes from Latin to overflow. Be thankful God’s with you in all things, staying focused on Him, moving toward your next blessing, victory or need.

The more you turn your heart to Jesus the more you know He has your back. Rest in His grace it makes the ride smoother.
