Abiding

Abiding

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine dresser. Every branch of mine that bears no fruit, he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already made clean by the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

Father by your Spirit and Word prune, guide and direct our path, as we submit to you in mind will and emotion. By you Father God our vine-dresser to produce and bear great fruit for the Kingdom of our Lord, Christ Jesus.Amen

His Care

His Care

Thy steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens,
thy faithfulness to the clouds.
Thy righteousness is like the mountains of God,
thy judgments are like the great deep;
man and beast thou savest, O Lord.

How precious is thy steadfast love, O God!
The children of men take refuge in the shadow of thy wings.
They feast on the abundance of thy house,
and thou givest them drink from the river of thy delights.
For with thee is the fountain of life;
in thy light do we see light. Psalm 36:5-9 (RSVCE)

Inseparable!!

Inseparable!

What then shall we say to this? If God is for us, who is against us?  He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, will he not also give us all things with him? Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies; who is to condemn? Is it Christ Jesus, who died, yes, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us?Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written …

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,  nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8: 31-39

Harvest is Now

 Harvest Is Now!!!!

“…Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every infirmity. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. “Matthew 9: 34-36

Every day we have opportunity to sow and reap. Lord help us to always be ready in soul, spirit and mind, to hear your voice and your leading, to hand a word and hand to sow and harvest for you.

Not by Law!

Not by Law!!!!

But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from law, although the law and the prophets bear witness to it, the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction; since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, they are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus,  whom God put forward as an expiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins; it was to prove at the present time that he himself is righteous and that he justifies him who has faith in Jesus.                                                                                                                                                 Then what becomes of our boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? On the principle of works? No, but on the principle of faith.For we hold that a man is justified by faith apart from works of law. Romans 3:21-28 (RSVCE)

Our Father God has the original rose colored glasses, and see us righteous and clean, not excusing our faults but hand extended always to give us a leg up as we turn our heart in repentance toward Him. “Praise God for His mercy is steadfast!

Are you Walking It!

Are you walking in It?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      “ Beloved, I am writing you no new commandment, but an old commandment which you had from the beginning; the old commandment is the word which you have heard. Yet I am writing you a new commandment, which is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining. He who says he is in the light and hates his brother is in the darkness still. 10 He who loves his brother abides in the light, and in it there is no cause for stumbling.” I John 2:7-10 (RSVCE)

God’s Valentine

God’s Valentine

“ For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. 18 He who believes in him is not condemned; he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” John 3: 16-18

East from West

East from West

 He does not deal with us according to our sins,
nor requite us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heavens are high above the earth,
so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far does he remove our transgressions from us.
13 As a father pities his children,
so the Lord pities those who fear him.
14 For he knows our frame;
he remembers that we are dust.” Psalm 103:10-14

Father God, we and praise you and thank you that as we have be chosen and accepted the gift of salvation through Christ Jesus, blood sacrifice for us, you see us through the blood made righteous and whole Including us as joint heirs in the family. Be Patient

Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;
