  James 1:12-18 (NRSVCE)

12 Blessed is anyone who endures temptation. Such a one has stood the test and will receive the crown of life that the Lord  has promised to those who love him. 13 No one, when tempted, should say, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil and he himself tempts no one. 14 But one is tempted by one’s own desire, being lured and enticed by it; 15 then, when that desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and that sin, when it is fully grown, gives birth to death. 16 Do not be deceived, my beloved.

17 Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. 18 In fulfillment of his own purpose he gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would become a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

You are chosen to overcome and reproduce for the Kingdom of our Father God.

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Morning Line: Healing

Morning Line: Healing!!

“…I am the Lord, who heals you.” Exodus 15:26

One of God’s names is ‘Jehovah Rapha,’ meaning ‘I am the Lord who heals.’ As God calls Himself the healer, then you have the right to believe what He says and expect that, He will. His promises are backed by all the honor of His name (Psalms 138:2) .  Pray, in faith believing. A ‘good faith’ deal requires that both parties trust each other’s word. Their trust is a rational decision of their will, not their emotions. Faith is your will deciding that God will keep the promise He has made to you. It’s refusing to say, ‘If only I felt more positive.’ Jesus spelled it out: ‘…All things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received …. (Mark 11:24). Whatever your need, Jesus Christ and the promises of God are the answer, you can bank on it.

Cause & Effect

1 John 3:18-24  (NRSVCE)

18 Little children, let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action. 19 And by this we will know that we are from the truth and will reassure our hearts before him 20 whenever our hearts condemn us; for God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. 21 Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have boldness before God; 22 and we receive from him whatever we ask, because we obey his commandments and do what pleases him.

23 And this is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. 24 All who obey his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit that he has given us.

Morning Line: Believe to See!

Morning Line: Believe to See!

“…If you would believe you would see the glory of God.” John 11:40

To see the power and glory of God practice these three important principles:

( 1) Relationship with Jesus before the crisis arose.

You can’t refuse to give God a minute of your time, an ounce of your energy then when trouble comes, say, ‘Lord, why did You let this happen?’

Jesus said, ‘If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you John 15:7 .

(2) Having a relationship with Jesus doesn’t mean you won’t have trouble. But it does mean that you can go to Him with confidence in times of trouble knowing

‘…If our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him  1John 3:21-22 .

(3) When you bring Jesus into the situation, He will change it. Take a stand in this:

‘…Is there anything too hard for Me?’Jeremiah 32:27.

If your answer is ‘No, Lord,’ then your problem becomes an opportunity for Him to demonstrate His love and care for you, guiding and directing you to be more the a conqueror

God has made it clear He will open your mind to the fullness of His grace and as you trust Him to making your way straight and being your comforter and guide. Trust the power of His hand to protect you in all your ways from losing your footing.

Love one Another!

Love one another!!!

John 13:34-35  (NRSVCE)

34 I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Beside the easy ones, ask the Holy Spirit to help you show “Love” to the hard ones. It’s time to reconcile!!

Look at Jesus…not in criticism, but in wonder!

May you see Jesus and watch Him closely and hang on every word He says holding it close to your heart. Letting His “Word” set the pace of your life.

Acts 4:12-13  (NRSVCE) “ There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among mortals by which we must be saved.” 13 Now when they saw the boldness of  Peter and John and realized that they were uneducated and ordinary men, they were amazed and recognized them as companions of Jesus. “

Your pedigree or lack of means nothing, Be bold, Be Strong, Be Encouraged,  by design Christ Jesus in you gives you the ability to be more than a conqueror.
