Morning Line: What Past?

2 Corinthians 5:16-17  (NRSVCE)

¹⁶ From now on, therefore, we regard no one from a human point of view; even though we once knew Christ from a human point of view, we know him no longer in that way. ¹⁷ So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!

 When you accepted Jesus your past was forgotten covered by his redeeming blood.  Ask God to show you your make over through his eyes. Renew your mind daily in the Word the old man will melt away. As you seek Him He’ll come closer and closer, enjoy all he has for you today. Let His Holy Spirit guide you to more and greater then you ever could imagine.

Morning Line: Not Holding Out!

God’s not holding out on you:  3 John 1:2”Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers.”

As you have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord you are a full heir. Fill your soul with the knowledge of His Word.

Romans 8:16-18 (NRSVCE) ^” it is that very Spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God, ¹⁷ and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ—if, in fact, we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him. ¹⁸ I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed to us.

You have the promise that you are to prosper in all ways, stand with an open heart and arms in faith, believing without doubt and receiving all of God’s benefits for your life.

Dear Children

Do Not Worry

Matthew 6:25-26  (NRSVCE)  “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink,^[a] or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ²⁶ Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

We are Love: Father, Son and Holy Spirit

1 John 4:7-10 (NRSVCE)  ^“Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. ⁸ Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love. ⁹ God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him. ¹⁰ In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.”

Morning Line: Confidence!

Knowing brings confidence. Confidence is based on knowledge. The Bible doesn’t bring confidence, knowing the author does. Jesus didn’t say the truth makes you free he said knowing the truth does. Get to know Jesus and his Father through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and be confident and free.

2 Corinthians 5:6,7”Therefore we are always confident,…For we walk by faith, not by sight”

Morning Line: Submit and Conquer!

James 4:7-8  (NRSVCE) ^“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. ⁸ Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you….”

Being alert empowers you to be proactive in your personal and spiritual life.

1 Peter 5:8  (NRSVCE) “ Discipline yourselves, keep alert. Like a roaring lion your adversary the devil prowls around, looking for someone to devour. “                                                                                                                                                                                This is crucial, setting the rules of engagement. If you’re losing more than winning, then you may have omitted this vital rule: ‘Submit yourselves therefore to God.’ Salvation doesn’t enroll you in a club for the religious elite; it enlists you in the army of the Lord. And this war isn’t just about you. It’s also about your King, His ruler ship and authority, and who acknowledges it. Kingdom power is only given by the King to His subjects.                                                                                                                                                                                                                      To win this battle you must recognize your King and submit to Him. The Roman centurion who met Christ understood this.                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Luke 7:8  (NRSVCE) ^“ For I also am a man set under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘Do this,’ and the slave does it.””                                                                                  He recognized that he, like Jesus, got his power by submitting to authority. Submitting yourself to Jesus is what gives you the power to battle successfully. As you recognize Christ’s authority and submit to it because it’s the submitted life that overcomes. Seize the moment and surrender yourself to Jesus, the King of kings, Who said,  ‘…All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth’ (Matthew 28:18 KJV). Under His authority you discover that victory ‘…Not by [human] might nor by [human] power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts’ (Zechariah 4:6 NKJV).

With Jesus Christ and His Spirit you’re riding with the all-time winning stable.
