Morning Line: “_ _ _ _” It happens!

“In this world you will have trouble.”    John 16:33 NIV

Are you ready for trouble. Pastors and counselors constantly “pick up the pieces” of the broken lives of those who thought trouble would never come their way, so they didn’t prepare for it.

Paul wrote, “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed” (2Colossians 4:8).

Believers live in the same world as nonbelievers, but they handle it differently. That’s because they have a different source, a different strategy, and a different spirit.

God’s promise is: “He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him” (Psalm 91:15).

Some people dwell only on troubles. Others dwell only on deliverance. The secret of victory is in accepting that trouble will come, but knowing you’re ready to get through it because you’ve taken the time and training required to handle it scripturally, physically and mentally.

People say, “If only I’d known this was going to happen I’d have been ready for it.” It’s foolish to go looking for trouble, but it’s even more foolish not to be prepared for it. Get ready for trouble, because trouble is getting ready for you! In such times the plugged in prepared believer turns to their unfailing source.

God’s Word is: “He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee…In famine (recession) he shall (deliver) thee…At destruction…thou shalt laugh” (Job 5:19-22).

Get ready you cannot win if you can’t get back up and you are designed by God to be more than conqueror, Smile and “Seize the Day” in Him in You working through you for His Glory and your Victory.

One in Him!

“ I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect. For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another. We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us: prophecy, in proportion to faith; ministry, in ministering; the teacher, in teaching;  the exhorter, in exhortation; the giver, in generosity; the leader, in diligence; the compassionate, in cheerfulness. Morning Line: Daily Bread

Morning Line: Daily Bread

Psalm 68:19”Blessed be the Lord who daily loads us with His benefits, the God of our salvation!”

Don’t skip your daily meal of God’s “WORD”. When you do you become weak, irritable, tired you just don’t function right. Right in the middle of the Lord’s Prayer Matthew 6:11 Jesus said “give this day our daily bread” not just physical but also spiritual. All throughout the Old and New Testament scriptures refer to God’s Word as bread, so pray daily for a word from God, your daily bread of life to strengthen, nourish and guide you.

Pray: Thank you Lord for your bread of life that feeds and sustains me. Thank you for opening my spirit to hear a Word from today, to touch my life and the life of someone around me.

In Jesus Christ’s name amen.

Peace in Praise & Submission

 Great peace have those who love your law;
nothing can make them stumble.
 I hope for your salvation, O Lord,
and I fulfill your commandments.

Morning Line: His “Word”

Morning Line: HIS WORD WILL ACCOMPLISH!

 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD.  “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”  Isaiah 55:8-11

Do you believe that God’s Word will accomplish what He desires and achieve the purpose for which He sent it?  If you will ponder and meditate on the first scripture, it will increase your faith, hope and trust in God’s Holy Word. God’s Word will not return void. God’s promises will be fulfilled. Are you hungering and thirsting for the Word of God? Do you believe in the power in the Word of God? Seek the Lord daily, read His Word, then spend time with the Lord in prayer as you listen for His special soft voice. Pray open the eyes and ears my spirit.

You will see the path before you and on the right step. Go win today’s race today and give Christ Jesus the Glory!

Morning Line:  Made for You!

Take the time to look around and acknowledge ALL of God’s creations.  From the beautiful sky to your neighbor, all made by God!

Psalm104:24 “How varied are Your works, Lord!  In wisdom You have wrought them all; the earth is full of Your creatures.”

As your worship and ponder the day thank God for all His love and majesty. Ask Him how you can share it better with others.

Stop and smell God’s flowers rest in Him today.

Avenger of Righteous

17 If the Lord had not been my help,

Morning Line: No’s OK!

 When opportunity knocks we don’t always have to embrace it. Instead of adding to your To Do list start a Stop Doing list.

Discipline molds Character

5 And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as children—

“My child, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord,
or lose heart when you are punished by him;
6 for the Lord disciplines those whom he loves,
and chastises every child whom he accepts.”

7 Endure trials for the sake of discipline. God is treating you as children; for what child is there whom a parent does not discipline? 8 If you do not have that discipline in which all children share, then you are illegitimate and not his children. 9 Moreover, we had human parents to discipline us, and we respected them. Should we not be even more willing to be subject to the Father of spirits and live? 10 For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share his holiness. 11 Now, discipline always seems painful rather than pleasant at the time, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

12 Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees, 13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed.
