Morning Line: Speak Healing!

Morning Line: Speak Healing!

“The tongue of the wise promotes health.” Pr 12:18 NKJV

Grace “salt that seasons our words and keeps them from corrupting.”

Salt has two primary purposes: it preserves, and adds flavor. So when the Bible says your words should be “seasoned with salt” (Col 4:6), it means they should preserve and not corrupt, always be in good taste, and promote well-being.

James says “You can’t draw fresh water from a salty spring” (James 3:12 NLT),

Friend you can’t fake what’s in your heart it will come out.. It’s not just a saying the right things; it’s about having a right attitude, because what you say reflects “the things that are in [your] heart” (Matthew 12:34 NCV).

King Solomon said, “There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword” (Proverbs 12:18 NKJV).

One Bible teacher says: “We have the ability to speak words of life or death, Faith is a law and we operate it with our words, either to our benefit in destruction…‘

The tongue of the wise promotes health— ‘The tongue of the unwise promotes sickness.’ It’s your choice. You can operate by the law of faith and line up your mouth and heart with what the Devil tells you. Or you can operate the same law of faith by lining your mouth and heart up with God’s Word and promises releasing  His blessings in yourself and others.

Faith works by believing and saying what God says have the faith of God.” speak words of Healing and Life.

praise & honor

Praise & Honor

O come, let us sing to the Lord;
let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!
For the Lord is a great God,
and a great King above all gods.
In his hand are the depths of the earth;
the heights of the mountains are his also.
The sea is his, for he made it,
and the dry land, which his hands have formed.

O come, let us worship and bow down,
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!
For he is our God,
and we are the people of his pasture,
and the sheep of his hand.

O that today you would listen to his voice!

Morning Line: Worth Waiting!

Morning Line: Worth Waiting!

“How long, O Lord, must I call for help?”                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Habakkuk 1:2 NIV Are you waiting for your vision to start coming to pass, or to find a solution to a problem you’re facing, or for the first signs of fulfillment to a promise God has made you? You’re not the first person to struggle with the idea of waiting and when you get what you’re waiting for now, you’ll begin waiting for something else. If there’s one word that defines Christian living, it’s – waiting. God said to the prophet Habakkuk, “The revelation awaits an appointed time…and will not prove false.

“Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay” (Habakkuk 2:3 NIV)

Why did God say that? Because He was answering the prophet’s question, “How long, O Lord, must I call for help, but you do not listen?” Look at Job totally bankrupt, he says:

“If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait, till my change comes” (Job 14:14 NKJV)

. Waiting for things to change is not easy. So what should you do while you’re waiting? Pour yourself into the job at hand; otherwise you’ll shortchange your own future. James writes, “Be patient…See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm” (James 5:7-8 NIV). What God has in store for you is worth any price you have to pay and any season of waiting you have to go through.

Citizen

Citizen

So he came and proclaimed peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near;  for through him both of us have access in one Spirit to the Father. 19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are citizens with the saints and also members of the household of God, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone. In him the whole structure is joined together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord;  in whom you also are built together spiritually into a dwelling place for God.

Morning Line: Unfailing Love

Morning Line:  Unfailing love

“…My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?” Matthew 27:46 NKJV

Imagine having to stand on a stage and watch every sin you’ve ever committed replayed for the entire world to see – secret addictions, selfish motives, angry outbursts, critical attitudes, and jealous heart. How do you think you’d feel? Well, Jesus experienced much worse. The Bible says: ‘He…bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness by whose stripes you were healed’ (1Peter 2:24 NKJV). It’s bad enough to die for sins you didn’t commit, but imagine being forsaken by God!

Does that mean the Psalmist was wrong when he wrote:                                                                    ‘…I have never seen the righteous forsaken…’ (Psalms 37:25 NIV)?

No, because at that moment Jesus was anything but righteous. When you look at Him hanging there you will see the gossiper, the liar, the cheater, the alcoholic, the porn addict, the child abuser, the murderer. Does it bother you to see His name linked with theirs? Well, Jesus did even more. He put Himself in their place and yours. In a move that broke God’s heart and gave us the gift of eternal life, He poured out His righteous judgment on His only Son. So when Jesus cried from the cross, ‘My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?’ He said it so that you would never have to. What wondrous love.

Joint Heir

Joint Heir

Now before faith came, we were imprisoned and guarded under the law until faith would be revealed.  Therefore the law was our disciplinarian until Christ came, so that we might be justified by faith.  But now that faith has come, we are no longer subject to a disciplinarian,  for in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith.  As many of you as were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.  There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.  And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to the promise.”Galatians 3:23-29 (NRSVCE)

 “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.  For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption. When we cry, “Abba! Father!”  it is that very Spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God,  and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ—if, in fact, we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him. Romans 8:14-17 (NRSVCE)

Joint Heir through Christ Jesus to all the promises not just a piece of the pie.  Stand up boldly “Stake your Claim” walk and live in Victory.

Path of Security

Path of Security

Psalm 16 (NRSVCE)

 Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
 I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have no good apart from you.”

As for the holy ones in the land, they are the noble,
in whom is all my delight.

Those who choose another god multiply their sorrows;
their drink offerings of blood I will not pour out
or take their names upon my lips.

The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup;
you hold my lot.
The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
I have a goodly heritage.

I bless the Lord who gives me counsel;
in the night also my heart instructs me.
I keep the Lord always before me;
because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

Therefore my heart is glad, and my soul rejoices;
my body also rests secure.
10 For you do not give me up to Sheol,
or let your faithful one see the Pit.

11 You show me the path of life.
In your presence there is fullness of joy;
in your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Morning Line: When & Where

Morning Line: When and Where!

“Leave…go to the land I will show you.”    Genesis  12:1 NIV

Let God Show You Where to Go

Where you are matters. What’s the point? Simply this: sometimes you need to change your location mentally and sometimes physically in order to succeed in what God’s called you to do. Look at the life of Elijah. “The word of the Lord came to him, saying, ‘Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there’” (1Kings 17:2-4 NKJV).

Ravens normally don’t deliver food, they eat it. But when you do what God tells you and go where He sends you, you move from the natural realm to the supernatural one. God not only has a plan for your life, He has a place for it. Yes, you must have the right strategy, but you must also be in the right spot.

“I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go” (Isaiah 48:17 NIV).

If your heart’s desire is to honor God in all things, He will show you the best location to succeed in. Indeed, He will go ahead of you and rearrange circumstances to your advantage. He did it for Abraham. “By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going” (Hebrews 11:8 NIV).

Ask God, and He will show you where to go. Renew your mind and spirit daily in God’s Word and you will hear His voice and go down the right lane to Success for His glory and your fulfillment.

Morning Line: “beauty for ashes”

Morning Line: “beauty for ashes”

 Praise to Win!

  “ But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such as these to worship him. 24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:23-24 (NRSVCE)

God has promised to give you “beauty for ashes”, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness” (Isa 61:3).

Satan can’t stand it when someone other than himself is receiving praise and honor, so the spirit of heaviness will lift when you begin to praise your God. It will fall off you like a garment. The weight will be gone. Your pity party will turn to a scene of gladness. Here’s something remarkable:

Jesus said, “The Father seeketh such to worship him…in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23-24). When you begin to worship God – instead of you seeking Him, He starts seeking you!

Since He knows where to find you at all times, He blesses you, strengthens you and causes you to rise above your discouragement. You can literally praise your way through the storm!  When you keep your head up and your eyes on Jesus, your heart begins to rejoice even in the toughest test. It takes effort, but it’s worth it.

Remember, you don’t always win every fight in the first round. But if you hang in there and keep answering the bell with praise, you will be victorious. Why? Because the fight was fixed by Christ Jesus a long time ago at Calvary .

Praise God, Seek God, keep your head up you are about to take a Win Picture.

Assurance

Assurance of Protection

Psalm 91 (NRSVCE)

You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,[a]
will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.”
For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.

A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
You will only look with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.

Because you have made the Lord your refuge,[b]
the Most High your dwelling place,
10 no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.

11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.

14 Those who love me, I will deliver;
I will protect those who know my name.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will rescue them and honor them.
16 With long life I will satisfy them,
and show them my salvation.
