The Bible tells a story about a fella named Bartimeus, born blind, never seen a sunrise or sunset. Smelling flowers and coffee and never seeing the face of a friend or stranger. He heard about a man who had a record of healing. Somehow Bart found his way to Jesus. “What do you want of me?” Are you kidding, I’m blind. I’d like to see!! Not a problem for Jesus. Some folks don’t want what Jesus offers. They would rather stumble around not seeing or not hearing, broke, and constantly disappointed. Jesus can change everything bringing victory into our lives, giving sight and untold blessings to those who will seek him like Bartimeus did. He is only a short prayer away. Our testimony, we used to be blind, but now we see. Tell someone. Just saying

The Healing of Blind Bartimaeus
“ For the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.”
They came to Jericho. As he and his disciples and a large crowd were leaving Jericho, Bartimaeus son of Timaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the roadside. When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Many sternly ordered him to be quiet, but he cried out even more loudly, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” Jesus stood still and said, “Call him here.” And they called the blind man, saying to him, “Take heart; get up, he is calling you.” So throwing off his cloak, he sprang up and came to Jesus. Then Jesus said to him, “What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man said to him, “My teacher, let me see again.” Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and followed him on the way.” Mark 10:45-52 (NRSVCE)
