Morning Line: Blinker Off- Head up

Morning Line: Blinkers off- Head up

A wise friend (Norma M) when I was in a bad spell took me by ear and said God can’t bless you with your head and hands in your pockets. Get-um up and look up or your miss the opportunity God has at your door.                                                                           Like Elisha’s servant we can be looking at what surrounds us or the wrong direction.

2 Kings 6:15-17 (NRSVCE)When an attendant of the man of God rose early in the morning and went out, an army with horses and chariots was all around the city. His servant said, “Alas, master! What shall we do?” 16 He replied, “Do not be afraid, for there are more with us than there are with them.” 17 Then Elisha prayed: “O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the Lord opened the eyes of the servant, and he saw; the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. “

Many times we are like the servant and only see the problem or opposition. We need to have the blinkers off – head up to the hand of God and protection around us at work, saying follow me to victory. Remember the author of Hebrews reminds us that Christ Jesus went through unimaginable suffering in our place so that when we fix our eyes on Him, we will be strengthen and equipped for the race ahead to succeed.

Smile, stand up boldly, mount up. You have a race to win!!
