Morning Line: Up Close and Personal

Father, Son, and Spirit are always inviting you to come closer to have a first-hand relationship with them. You don’t have to settle for sound bites, second-hand information, or a long-distance relationship. You can get ‘up close and personal’.

John writes, ‘That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at, and our hands have touched, this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.’

Drawing closer to God by developing a greater awareness of His presence in meditation brings great benefits:

(1) Friendship. No human being can be everything you need. But God can. He is a ‘friend who sticks closer than a brother’ (Proverbs 18:24 NIV). He will stick by you through every season of life, the bad and the good.

(2) Stand in confidence in the promises: whatever life throws at you, “you can do all things through Christ who strengthens me’ (Philippians 4:13 NKJV).

Reach into your spirit; the Holy Spirit is right there with you. His peace and grace are with you. You matter and your life matters. I am praying for your connection with the Father God-Christ Jesus- Holy Spirit to fill your spirit, mind, heart, and soul in a very special way today with confidence and peace.

Daily, pour God’s Word into your heart to overflowing; when you need its power, it will pour back out of you in power and might to take care of the day before you.

Trust God, Trust His Love, Trust His “Word”, Trust the Process!

Jehovah God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are your sure, unshakable foundation.
