Morning Line: Sound Thinking!

“God has…given us…a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV

The Bible says, ‘God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.’ Improve your soundness:

Control your thoughts.  ‘People out of shape mentally fall victim to ideas and systems that are destructive to the human spirit. By not learning how to think and find balance in God’s Word, they set themselves up to depend on the thoughts and opinions of others.

“Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart.
Commit your way to the Lord; Trust in Him also and He will do it.
He will make your righteousness [your pursuit of right standing with God] like the light,
And your judgment like [the shining of] the noonday [sun]. Psalm 37:4-6 (AMP)

Faith produces excitement, commitment, energy; characteristics that help you achieve success. If you’d like to possess these qualities, align your thoughts and expectations with God’s promises.

‘…Whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them’ (Mark 11:24 NKJV).

Do you want to succeed where you’ve failed before?  Don’t start by changing your actions; start by changing your mind. Renew it daily with God’s Word. Nothing you do will have as great an impact moving you to God’s best for you.

 The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your needs in parched places,
and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden,
like a spring of water, whose waters never fail. Isaiah 58:11(NRSVCE)

Daily pour God’s Word into your heart to overflowing; when you need its power, it will pour back out of you in power and might to take care of the day before you.

Trust God, Trust His Love, Trust His “Word”, Trust the Process!
