Morning Line: Breath

“ All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction into righteousness.” 2 Timothy 3:16

The Bible is God’s Breath of Life. How long can you hold your breath without being in trouble?

In the natural, we can only last a short time

Many of us are living in a spiritually oxygen-depleted atmosphere because we are not taking a deep breath of God’s Word daily and letting any bit of stress take our breath away.

The Greek root for inspiration is breath. So all Scripture is the “Breath of God”; in Ezekiel, God said Let these dry bones have breath and return to life. And they came together and stood as a great army.

Ezekiel 37:1-5 “ The hand of the Lord came upon me, and he brought me out by the spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me all around them; there were very many lying in the valley, and they were very dry.  He said to me, “Mortal, can these bones live?” I answered, “O Lord God, you know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them: O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.  Thus says the Lord God to these bones: I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live.

If God’s breath- His Word can do that in a valley of dry bones, think about the power it can release in your life.

Take an extra deep breath today and see what God does in and through you. Let the breath of God energize you and regenerate your dry bones.

Daily pour God’s Word into your heart to overflowing; when you need its power, it will pour back out of you in power and might to take care of the day before you.

Trust God, Trust His Love, Trust His “Word”, Trust the Process!
